Art Activities (Blog)

I have a separate sections for my travels. http://www.waltersattazahn.com/archives/1604

Work in progress:

Here is a collection of paintings I had done. Some are of places I visited, some are from figure drawing sessions.

3D project with Unity

Some of my time outside of work I have been spending on making a fully animated 3D character based on a little character I like to hide in my illustrations. I am not going to go into details about my project yet, but here is some progress.

Jump testing with interactive bouncy leaf platform:

While at Coffee Tree Roasters on Walnut street, I was drawing with some friends.

A Saudi man approached us to share his interest in art. I offered to draw him and while drawing him he showed me how to write the alphabet and my name in Arabic. I love making these connections and learning about calligraphy and culture.

In October, I only used ink. I enjoyed using a brush pen for drawing and calligraphy.

I really took a liking to life drawing and writing the Chinese characters in my Mandarin classes in the library.

This is a self portrait I made with a brush pen for inktober.

A small company called BrainVessel is currently selling the coin I modeled for them. They had it printed with a 3D printer in zinc:

Here are a variety of life drawings I have done over the past several weeks. I use mostly just a piece of black charcoal, and sometimes experiment with ink. The poses are usually broken up into 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute, 10 minute and then end with 20 minutes.
